This morning Alaina and I beat the heat by running with Back On My Feet. Alaina ran an easy 2 mile recovery run after a fast 2.75 yesterday afternoon. Tomorrow we’re running 3 miles together. She’s only been running for a few weeks and is making so much progress. The Back On My Feet speed demons have helped me improve so much over the past few months. We ran just over 4 miles past the pier, up the CRAZY Montana Street steps and across 11th Street back to the CLARE Foundation. Our last two splits were under seven minutes! Also, notice it was already 70 degrees at 5:30 AM. We are experience quite the heat wave in LA. More on Back On My Feet in an upcoming post. It is an incredible national organization.
