I haven’t been the best running blogger. I’ve been leaving out details about running, and jumping straight into the fun LA living stuff. So I’ll start with last week’s workouts. Apparently 8:30 was my go-to pace this week. I’ve really been focusing on no more than two faster workouts, taking it nice and easy on long runs, and squeezing in as many easy miles as I can. I was able to get some decent milage. Having my meals prep definitely helped.

OK. Now for the fun stuff. Bri, Cecilia, Alaina and I on Monday morning after the 6AM Rise Nation class. We’re hardcore. I love these smart, talented women 🙂 The Equitas Academy #3 teaching team!Tuesday evening’s post-track ab workout. Thanks Victor!
How have I never gone to Mohawk Bend in Echo Park? Avocado “Fish + Chips.” Delicious, but super rich. Perfect for sharing. This was not planned. Cute, eh? This batch of overnight oats had hemp seeds, cocoa nibs, pepitas, almond butter, bananas, figs, and cashew milk. That just sounded super obnoxious California.
Ashley and Alaina’s beautiful classroom. Parent Orientation happened on Thursday night, cha-ching!
Thank you Alicia, Colby and Miles for the school goodies!Start of the birthday run at Ellen’s. Alaina ordered us the cutest shirts for the run! Thank you thank you!
Our 18 mile route through LA.
Stolen from instagram. Thanks for joining us on the bike, Anna.
This girl is the definition of loyalty. Thank you for everything you did to make yesterday so special. Delivering us water, pretzels and swedish fish on our run, making me a fun purple tutu, keeping me company while getting pampered, ordering birthday run t-shirts, and coordinating Rush Street. I’m so lucky to have you in my life! You’re up next. February 11th. You’ve set the 30th birthday bar high.
And I didn’t make it to run club today. I slept in till 8:30. Crazy late for me. This morning Brent and I walked to Playa Provisions for coffee and went for a lovely stroll on the beach. Marta then came over and we all relaxed by the pool, read trashy magazines, and ate chicken jerky.
Time get ready for the work week. One week until students arrive. So much to do! And in my running life, Saturday is the first 20 miler of this training season. Hoping it’s not 90 degrees.
